About Quail Valley & Quail Valley Proud
Quail Valley is located in Missouri City, Texas and was the first master planned community in Fort Bend County. Originally built around 3 golf courses, Quail Valley's winding waterways and variety of homes offers a change from the familiar "cookie cutter" style community. Quail Valley once hosted the 1973 and 1974 Houston Open and continues to host numerous local and regional tournaments.
Established in 1969, Quail Valley was one of the pioneer planned communities in Ft. Bend County. The hidden vistas of sunsets along the waterways, which wind throughout this epoch, tree lined neighborhood. Quail Valley's classical 2,530 acres are nestled along Oyster Creek near Highway 6 South, the Ft. Bend Toll Road and close to the Southwest Freeway, 288 and Murphy Road. This small, once bedroom community is now at the center of Missouri City's tremendous growth surge. Commercial development is booming all around.
Quail Valley Proud is the eyes and ears of this community. It is a liaison to the city, fire and police departments as well as other governmental bodies and other community organizations. Quail Valley Proud is a neighborhood association, not a homeowner's association (HOA) and was formed in 1991. It is staffed completely by resident volunteers. Our organization sponsors various beautification projects throughout the neighborhood, hosts several community events each year and funds neighborhood Crime Watch teams. It also supports a community HOTLINE for questions, concerns and complaints.
