Many of Missouri City’s award-winning parks are located in or near Quail Valley. They provide approximately 180 acres of green space and various recreational activities that include fishing, basketball courts, sport fields, playground equipment, trails, as well as pavilions that may be rented. Enjoy Quail Valley Trails
Quail Valley has miles of traditional and paved trails for walking, hiking, biking, and running.
Edible Arbor Trail / Oyster Creek Trail
This award-winning trail is accessed at Mosley Park (FM 1092, across from the Township). The 2.31 mile trail is paved along Oyster Creek Bayou and features groves of hardy trees and shrubs that produce edible fruits and nuts:
mulberry, jujube, persimmon, pomegranate, chestnut, pineapple guava, walnut, fig, loquat, Mexican plum, golden fig, pear, kumquat, lemon, olive, pecan, satsuma, and cherry. The trail connects to Sugar Land’s trail along Oyster Creek.
Walking on the Golf Courses
Both the La Quinta and El Dorado golf courses are open to pedestrian traffic (walk or bike) at certain times.
Mornings:
Holes 1-9: 6:00 am – 6:59 am
Holes 10-18: 6:00 am – 8:29 am
Evenings:
Holes 1-18: 20 min after sunset – 10:00 pm (11:00 pm during DST)
